WHY ARE WE CLOSING DOWN?

Due to the current economic climate, retail has took a downturn and trading became more and more strained as utility costs rose. Whilst we did not create the shop for profits and it was more aimed at providing an outlet for the youth of our town, we could not sustain the rising costs of trading. It has been an amazing journey from idea to creation and that could not have been possible without support from some amazing people that volunteered for the shop. We could never have expected such a positive group of individuals who helped keep the shop running.

As we have closed the shop, the aim of the store was never to be online only and as such we are closing down fully. At this point the entire shop is up for sale, taking into account stock, fixtures, fittings, distributors, website, email and equipment, you should get a deal way cheaper than than the retail value of stock alone.

We are eternally sorry to our customers who came to depend on us for a safe place to hang, those customers that loved great service and those that just found us. Please accept these massive discounts in return for the disappointment.

Regards Rustee, Sam, John and Bean (people who have helped us the most)

This is where the dream began, Rustee as a 16-17yo honing his craft at The Snowboard Asylum where he spent 10 years learning everything from Specialist Snowboard repair as a tech for Snowboard Klinic, to customer services and management. At the time, Tamworth had a local skate shop called Subway owned by Richard Harrison, it was a tiny store, but it was an awesome store.Rich gave Rustee his first shop sponsor a few years before the photo, this meant more than everything for him. He knew back then that one day he would have his own little skate store. At the time of the photo Rustee was getting many sponsors thanks to help from Jeremy Sladen. At one point he had a snow Sponsor called Hammer and a clothing Sponsor Alien Workshop. This was under Faze7 Distribution who also supplied(and owned) Blueprint Skateboards. He was fortunate enough to get a flow deal from both Blueprint and the skate side of Alien Workshop through Faze7 which cemented his style as a board snapping monster where lofty, more stylized tricks were favoured over flippy spinny stuff.

Rustee Thanks his sponsors over the years:
